Water-cooled Series Basic Intelligent Cold Storage Condensing Unit, equipped with RMDAE-4001-15 air cooler, is a small intelligent refrigeration device for water-sufficient and noise-sensitive applicati, ons. It achieves high-efficiency and low-noise refrigeration through water-cooled heat exchange, supporting integrated intelligent temperature control, defrosting and operation for small cold storages.
Supports single/dual EEV options, compatible with R22/R404A refrigerant, pre-charged with 2. 2 kg. Equipped with highefficiency shell and tube condenser, water flow rate 2 m³/h, water connection DN25.

Q1: Does the RMDWC-03 need to be equipped with a cooling tower, and what size is suitable?
A1: A cooling tower is required. A 5-ton cooling tower is recommended, as its flow rate matches the unit’s water flow rate of 2 m³/h, ensuring excellent condensing performance. If a stable water source such as tap water or a circulating water tank is available onsite, it can be connected directly without a cooling tower.
Q2: Is daily maintenance more complicated for water-cooled units than for air-cooled ones?
A2: Slightly more complex. It mainly requires regular inspection of cooling water quality to prevent scale from clogging the condenser. It is recommended to soften the cooling water every 3 months and clean scale from the condenser every 6 months. Other maintenance procedures are the same as for air-cooled units, so overall maintenance difficulty is low.
Q3: Does the circulating pump need to run 24 hours a day?
A3: The circulating pump must run synchronously with the unit to supply cooling water to the condenser. When the unit stops, the pump can also be turned off. It does not need to run 24/7, which effectively reduces operating costs and extends the service life of the pump.
Q4: Can this unit be used in northern China in winter?
A4: Yes. When used in northern winters, antifreeze must be added to the cooling water system to prevent the cooling water from freezing and blocking the pipelines. We can provide special food-grade antifreeze, which is safe, environmentally friendly, and does not affect the heat exchange efficiency of the condenser.
