This is the basic model intelligent cold storage condensing unit in the air-cooled series. Paired with the RMDAE-4001-15 air coolerit forms a complete IoT refrigeration system, specially designed for small-capacity cold chain applications. It integrates intelligent temperature control, refrigeration and defrosting functions.
It supports optional single or dual electronic expansion valves, is compatible with R22/R404A refrigerants, and is pre-charged with 3 kg refrigerant.

Q1: Can the refrigerant for RMDAC-03 be replaced by the user?
A1: The unit is pre-charged with R22/R404A refrigerant and precisely calibrated before delivery. Do not replace refrigerant by nonprofessionals. For replacement or topping-up, please contact our official after-sales service. The first operation must be guided by our technicians to avoid reduced efficiency or unit failure caused by mismatched refrigerant.
Q2: Is this unit suitable for outdoor installation?
A2: Yes. The condensing fan is equipped with a protective net, and the motor reaches IP55 protection level, enabling it to withstand strong wind, heavy rain and other harsh weather. It can operate in a wide ambient temperature range of -5℃to +48℃, so no additional shelter is required for outdoor installation.
Q3: Can this unit still be used if a small cold storage is temporarily expanded?
A3: RMDAC-03 is designed for fixed capacity matching and only fits the specified storage volume. If the cold storage is slightly expanded (≤10% of original capacity), you may contact after-sales to adjust parameters. For large expansion, we recommend upgrading to larger models RMDAC-05 / RMDAC-08, or using a multi-module combination.
Q4: Is extra software required for remote control?
A4: No extra software is needed. The unit is equipped with a standard GPRS module. After binding to our official IoT management system, you can control the unit remotely via WeChat Mini Program (mobile) or web page (PC). The interface is simple and requires no professional skills.
